Chennai: Filmmaker Vikram Kumar, best known for directing Suriya-starrer Tamil thriller '24', got engaged with to 27-year old sound architect Srinidhi Venkatesh on Sunday at a private service here.
"It was while chipping away at "24" they initially met and when they wrapped up the task, they became attached to each other. They get occupied with an affectionate function on Sunday and are wanting to get hitched in September," a source near Vikram said.
Srinidhi functions as a sound architect with twofold Oscar-winning arranger A.R Rahman, who formed the music for '24'. Vikram will now just work on his next undertaking after the wedding. He's well on the way to collaborate with on-screen character Allu Arjun for a medicinal thriller.
